Our New Home
our bedroom with handmade bed and night stands by Doug's mom and uncle. they made a tall dresser to match. it's not pictured. our bedroom is on the third floor and has two closets in it plus two dormers. there's a room across the hall that is identical. it is currently the office. there is also a bathroom with separate shower/toilet area from the sink area. the "master bedroom" is downstairs (2nd floor) but it isn't bigger and less closet space. we are reserving it for our guests (aka Spencer's room for the summer.)
dining room which now has a nice good sized dining room table with matching chairs. enough room to host..finally. far cry from one bedroom apartment where we have been eating from a coffee table. we still are trying to break our habit of that. we forget we actually have a place to sit down and eat.
i love all the light and space in the living room and dining room. the dining room is open to the left and has more windows to allow in light.
part of the extra space we have downstairs that we want to finish into game room area.
some of the kitchen. lots of cabinet and counter space. has breakfast bar that opens up to dining room and living room. not pictured is the other half of the kitchen with matching frig, cabinet and pantry space along with washer/dryer area. (excuse all the junk. the photos were taken on moving day. looks much better now ;)
our new grill...a gift from his sister and brother-in-law. we have already put it to good use. ;)
This the view as come up the front stairs. nice deck out back and no one behind us or to the left of us. inside the living room to right. dining room to left.
This is the front of our home. it isn't much on the outside but the inside, neighborhood and location is great.
